Duplex Valves

Duplex steel refers to increasing the Cr content or adding other iron elements on the basis of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, so it can have the advantages of both ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel.

Compared with austenitic stainless steel, the strength of duplex stainless steel is almost double. In the manufacture of pressure vessels with the same strength requirements, the thickness can be reduced by 30-50%, which is beneficial to reduce costs.
